These are hand painted single pieces of wood attached to 24k gold-plated earrings. I was inspired to paint these in November of 2023 with acrylic paints and a set of small brushes I’d just purchased from a local paint supply store in Greensboro, NC,
Painting small is an immensely satisfying experience. The intimate size allows for intricate detail while capturing a moment of joy and beauty in the palm of your hand. “Oren” is of Hebrew origin meaning “laurel or pine tree”.
These are perfect for the winter season to celebrate the great and mysterious pine forest!
